A standard 0–10 loyalty scale used to measure likelihood to recommend, with built-in Promoter / Passive / Detractor scoring.
What respondents see#
Respondents see 11 numbered boxes from 0 to 10, anchored by a low-end label (default "Not likely") and a high-end label (default "Very likely"). They tap one number — the range is fixed at 0–10, unlike Rating, where the scale length itself is configurable.
When to use it#
- Measuring customer or product loyalty with an industry-standard scale.
- Benchmarking your score against published NPS norms.
- Any "how likely are you to recommend..." question.
Configuring it in the builder#
Open the question's Settings tab in the properties panel to set the anchor labels. NPS has no separate scale-length setting — the 0–10 range is fixed by design, so respondents' scores stay comparable across studies.
Settings reference#
| Setting | What it controls | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Min label | Text under 0 | "Not likely" |
| Max label | Text under 10 | "Very likely" |
Scoring#
Respondents are automatically bucketed:
- 0–6 = Detractors
- 7–8 = Passives
- 9–10 = Promoters
The Analytics & Responses page calculates your NPS score (%Promoters − %Detractors) and shows the breakdown automatically — no manual setup required.
Logic support#
NPS uses numeric operators — Equals, Greater than, Less than, Between, Answered, Not answered. See Display logic — The condition builder for the full table. A common pattern is showing a follow-up open-text question only for Detractors (score 0–6) using Between.
