Built on text/graphic — display-only, no answer is collected. Instruction Swiper presents a set of full-screen instruction slides the respondent swipes through before continuing, instead of one long scrolling Text/Graphic block.
What respondents see#
A series of full-screen slides, each rich text/HTML content, that the respondent swipes through in order. Nothing is recorded — the survey simply advances once the respondent reaches the end and presses Next.
When to use it#
- Multi-step onboarding or task instructions too long for a single Text/Graphic block.
- Study intros that benefit from being broken into digestible steps rather than one wall of text.
Configuring it in the builder#
Drag Instruction Swiper from the Custom Interfaces group. Each answer option in the answer-list editor becomes one instruction slide — author its rich HTML content there.

Good to know: This question can never be made required, takes no question number, and never appears in your exported data — same as a standard Text/Graphic block.
