Info Icon Augment is a Custom Interfaces plugin built on multiple choice — a standard choice list where each option can carry an info icon that opens a short explanatory popup.
What respondents see#
A normal multi-select choice list, except any option can show a small info icon next to it. Tapping the icon opens a popup with extra text (and optionally an image) explaining that option before the respondent answers.
When to use it#
- Feature or attribute lists where some terms need a one-line definition (e.g., industry jargon, product feature names).
Configuring it in the builder#
Drag Info Icon Augment from the Custom Interfaces group in the question palette, or convert an existing multiple choice question. Configuration uses the regular Multiple Choice settings — there's no separate Settings panel for this plugin.
Settings reference#
There is no dedicated settings/config file for this plugin. Its only plugin-specific field is per-option optionInfo (popup text and/or image), authored inline on the answer list editor next to each option — not in the Settings tab. Everything else (min/max selections, randomization, display) uses the standard Multiple Choice controls.
Logic support#
Built on multiple choice, so it supports the same set-based condition operators as a standard multiple choice question — Includes any of, Includes all of, Does not include, etc. See Logic, Flow & Conditions.
Good to know#
- Otherwise behaves exactly like a standard Multiple Choice question — logic, piping, and carry-forward all apply unchanged.
