Claim Multi Tap is a Custom Interfaces plugin built on matrix — respondents tap each criterion multiple times, and the tap count encodes intensity.
What respondents see#
A matrix where each cell responds to repeated taps: one tap might register "somewhat important," two taps "very important," three taps "critical." The default seed instruction shows an icon table explaining exactly what each tap count means, which most studies customize.
When to use it#
- Feature-importance or satisfaction batteries where a single tap-count gesture communicates intensity faster than a radio scale.
Configuring it in the builder#
Drag Claim Multi Tap from the Custom Interfaces group in the question palette. Plugin-specific behavior lives in the question's Settings tab; column display (icon/text/both) uses the standard "Answers (Columns) Display" control.

Good to know#
- Switching Matrix Type reseeds the criteria columns (e.g., Important/Unsatisfied for 2-tap; +Availability/Quality for 3-tap) — existing column IDs are preserved where possible so answers don't orphan.
